How are you all. Well, my this post is after quite a long time. Now, that I'm permanent resident here, I was busy in house hunting. So, when I was looking for houses, I came across so many websites and found some information that I thought would benefit our new Canadian residents.
Well, be it a student, or worker or a new permanent resident, when you come to this country, you have some money but obviously that money is very important for you survival here in Canada. When we look for houses here, we have to buy lots of stuff that can be quite expensive. No body gives freebies to anybody, but you can definitely find freebies like chair, old TV set, mattresses etc. for free.
There are many websites out there that wherein people posts things they don't want. Sometime they just keep it in front of their houses, sometimes they put it on these websites. One of the very famous websites is www.kijiji.com where-in people put lots of things to be picked up for free or may be at very less price.
The other website is https://www.freecycle.org/ where in you can select your group/area where-in you live and find free items if anybody is offering. This can be a great resource to those to who are new to Canada and trying to get settle in this amazing country.
